HON. TREASURER GENERAL

Dr Amina Guleid, MBChB, MSc is Treasurer General of the Kenya Medical Association. She is a medical doctor based in Nairobi, with an MBChB from the University of Nairobi and an MSc in Data Analytics from the University of Cumbria. She practised for over a decade, including at Kenyatta National Hospital, where she headed Universal Health Coverage and Clinical Outreaches, and later led projects, infrastructure and grants at the Ministry of Health. She is Medical Advisor at Sunview Medipro International, founder and CEO of Consultvrse, and a board member of the Kenya Red Cross Training Institute, where she has chaired finance. She is a member of the Kenya Association of Muslim Medical Professionals, a Presidential awardee, and was named among the 100 Most Influential Muslims in Kenya (2025).

A KMA member for a decade, she served two years on the Nairobi Division Council and four years as Divisional Secretary before her unopposed election as Treasurer General in March 2026. On the National Executive Committee she is responsible for stewardship of association resources, member welfare, and a stronger professional voice for doctors and patients.
